Fun with learning!
Holiday practice work provides the perfect opportunity to keep their “school brain” ticking over and keeps them challenged and stimulated. As our children grow up, homework becomes a more important part of their schooling, allowing them to develop vital skills such as independent research. School life has opened up a plethora of activities and umpteen challenges for modern-day learners. Gone are the days when imparting lessons would be conventional and compressed into the rigorous straightjacket modules.
It has been observed and researched that learners, nowadays, are burdened with tremendous expectations and academic pressure. It is undeniably true that vacations should be utilized to the hilt wherein the learners along with their parents can break the monotony and free their minds vacationing in exotic locales and look after their overall development of body, mind, and soul.

CHILDREN TOO HAVE SELF- ESTEEM.
Self -esteem is one’s belief about his/her own worth and value. It is how good people feel about themselves. It can be positive or negative. We need to remember that children too have self- esteem. Their self-esteem is largely influenced by the way their parents treat them. Research conducted on this construct proved that children tend to develop high self-esteem when their parents treat them with warmth. Such parents show encouragement and interest in child’s activities and share positive and constructive criticism. This attitude, in turn, makes children feel attended and valued. Such children with positive or high self-esteem feel confident, think good about themselves, believe in themselves and are proud of all what they do. They always feel liked and accepted. Such children may not hesitate to try new things and do their best. Such children will surely cope with mistakes and they will try again, even if they fail.
