Bhavans Pearl Wisdom School, Al Ain, is a part of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, a premier institution providing high quality education in India. Founded in 7th November 1938 by Dr.Kanhaiyalal Maneklal Munshi, a far-sighted visionary and practical idealist, who was also one of the chief members of India’s Constituent Assembly, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan is an intellectual, cultural and educational movement dedicated to the twin tasks of interpreting the age old yet ageless message of our country and of integrating our varied and vibrant culture with the changing needs of the present day world. The Bhavan has the blessings of Gandhiji and other stalwarts of the Indian National Movement like C.Rajagopalachari, Sardar Patel and Dr Rajendra Prasad. Bhavan represents Indian culture and reflects the ethos of Indian traditions in its true spirit.
During the eight decades of its existence the Bhavan has come to be recognized as a symbol of India’s glorious past and as a comprehensive national institution with an international outlook touching all facets of life and enriching all spheres of activity. Bhavan respect all cultures of all religions and communities and promote understanding and appreciation of their heritage and values. It believes in the fusion and synthesis of the basic ideals and tenets of all faiths and an equal respect for all religions. “Harmony of all faiths”.
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan conducts classes from kindergarten to post-graduate research and imparts education in subjects ranging from Carnatic Music to Computers, from Sanskrit to Business Management and from Yoga to Journalism. This is being accomplished through its centres spread all over the country and abroad. Today, the Bhavan is running over 400 schools in India and 10 international centres and schools in the UK, the USA, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Portugal, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and in UAE.
